The Sketchbook: An Animated Short Film

My friend and coworker, Chris Williams, just launched a project on kickstarter for an animated short. I filmed, recorded audio, mixed and edited the video for the pitch. It's going to have a great style and even more important a great story! If it's something you're interested in seeing completed, donate! You can also help spread the word by sharing the link to his kickstarter page!

Spielberg One Shot Takes

I've always enjoyed studying and breaking down Spielberg's camera work.  He does a great job creating new compositions within his long one shot takes by repositioning the cameras, the characters, or both at once rather than following them around with a steadicam.  This is a cool video collection of some of those shots.
